Even though he only played for less than one drive, all eyes remain on New York Jets star Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers tore his Achilles four plays into the season, but all the talk about his potential early comeback has made the NFL news more often than not.

The former MVP has made it loud and clear that he wants to take the field again this season, and he’s going the extra mile to make that happen.

However, his latest admissions on “The Pat McAfee Show” weren’t exactly optimistic, as he admitted that it’s been a complicated process thus far.

Rodgers talked about how the small gains have been frustrating for a competitor like him, adding that he’s still not walking without a limp and that it’s been “more of a grind” as of late.

The 39-year-old admitted that he doesn’t have the strength in his calf to walk normally yet, although he did confirm he’s no longer using crutches.

Rodgers stated that he needs to be quite careful when walking, as his goal isn’t to stretch the Achilles, but to stress it.

The former Green Bay Packers star will be in attendance to watch his team face the New York Giants on Sunday.

Robert Saleh’s team is fresh off their bye week after their impressive win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

They’re currently sitting on a 3-3 record and the playoffs are still in sight, so the fans shouldn’t give up on the hope to have Rodgers leading them to the promised land if they keep up this strong effort.
