A lot of the talk surrounding this year’s upcoming NFL Draft has been centered around the excellent quarterbacks who will be available.

With amazing prospects including Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, and Jayden Daniels, it is no wonder why.

But another position that should be filled with talent in the 2024 draft is wide receiver, and it goes well beyond Marvin Harrison Jr.

Dez Bryant, who was a skilled wideout himself several years ago with the Dallas Cowboys, said on Twitter that there are so many potential-laden WRs in this year’s draft that not all of them may be chosen in the first round.

He made sure to reiterate that not going in the first round isn’t a bad thing, given all the talent.

Harrison is the son of Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison, who made eight Pro Bowls and won a Super Bowl championship with the Indianapolis Colts, and he put up 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2023 with Ohio State.

After him, many feel the next-best prospect at wide receiver is Malik Nabers of LSU, who is coming off a season in which he recorded 1,569 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Rome Odunze of the University of Washington is thought to be a speed demon who also has nice size at 6-foot-3.

It will be interesting to see where each prospect ends up getting picked, especially given all the strong quarterbacks in the draft and each team’s specific needs.

In addition, a team such as the Los Angeles Chargers, who have the No. 5 pick, may opt for on offensive lineman rather than a wide receiver, which could make things even more interesting.
