The 2023 NFL season didn’t go as planned for the New York Jets.

Aaron Rodgers’ Achilles injury was the start of what ended up being a down year for a team that was expected to break their playoff drought.

The Jets finished the season with a 7-10 record, which disappointed them and forced them to go back to the drawing board ahead of the 2024 season.

Now that Rodgers is reportedly advancing quickly in his recovery, the organization and fanbase have a newfound optimism.

With any luck, the Jets’ offseason moves will make them a better team next year, giving them a better chance of success within their division.

One of the ways the Jets are looking to grow their roster is through the draft.

As Rich Cimini has reported, three offensive coaches will be attending the University of Michigan’s Pro Day, trying to get a better look at their prospective players.

The Jets have the 10th overall pick in the upcoming draft, which puts them in an interesting position.

They don’t need a quarterback, given Rodgers’ health, and their receiver room seems to be in a good position with Garrett Wilson as their top option.

While many have suggested tight end Brock Bowers as an interesting prospect for the Jets to consider, the Jets appear to be doing their diligence, taking another look at players from multiple teams.

Michigan is coming off of it’s National Championship, so it has many players who know what it’s like to win at the highest level, a mentality that could greatly help a team like the Jets.
