The Miami Heat have remained one of the best teams in the NBA over the last few seasons.

The organization’s success is evident from the fact that they have made two NBA Finals appearances in the last four seasons.

Unfortunately, the Heat lost in both, with the most recent defeat coming during the 2023 NBA Finals against the Denver Nuggets.

Speaking of the Heat’s failure in the 2023 NBA Finals, Jimmy Butler is already past that, as revealed per SI via Dru on Twitter.

Butler was the primary superstar of the Heat during the 2023 postseason run.

While Butler started off extremely hot in the playoffs, he cooled down in the NBA Finals.

Heading into the new season, Butler is apparently not thinking too much about the team’s failure against the Nuggets.

Instead, Butler is already over it and wants to keep his entire focus on making another deep playoff run in the 2024 playoffs.

With Butler already 34 years old, the window to win an NBA championship for him is closing soon.

Sure, he’s one of the top players in the league, but it’s more than obvious that the Heat need another star to aid Butler if they want to win the title.

The Heat were earlier expected to trade for Damian Lillard, but the 33-year-old superstar was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks.

On top of that, the Heat also lost a couple of key players in Gabe Vincent and Max Strus over the summer.

Can the Heat really advance to another NBA Finals or has their championship window already closed?
