Keyshawn Johnson Questions 1 Raiders Move This Offseason

The site will serve as the team's practice facility and will include three outdoor football fields, a 150,000-square-foot field house with one-and-a-half indoor football fields, a three-story office area, and a 50,000-square-foot performance center.

The Green Bay Packers made a bit of an odd decision.

They already had a star at the running back position, so letting go of Aaron Jones to make room for Josh Jacobs seemed like a petty move to some.

Of course, Jacobs is three years younger, healthier, and a legitimate workhorse running back who can be on the field on any down or situation.

Then again, that only makes it all the more surprising that the Las Vegas Raiders agreed to let him go.

Talking on Undisputed, Keyshawn Johnson questioned this move.

“I question more why the Raiders let him go. Antonio Pierce wants to run the ball,” Johnson said.

He argued that if new head coach Antonio Pierce wanted to run the football as he said, then this simply made no sense.

He’s right on point there.

Jacobs has been the best offensive player for the Raiders for years now, not to mention one of the most underrated running backs in the game.

The Packers got him at a reasonable price.

The fans might not like the fact that his arrival came at Jones’ expense, but this is a cruel business, and sometimes, you need to make these kinds of decisions.

Now, the Raiders will struggle to find the same level of production at the running back position.

Jacobs wanted to stay with the organization for the remainder of his career, and he made it quite clear for years.

Apparently, they didn’t feel the same way about him, and they’ll have to watch him dominate somewhere else now.
