The Los Angeles Rams have found themselves in a precarious situation.

After going all-in for their Super Bowl title in 2021, the Rams have depleted their future draft capital, making it difficult to be good trade partners.

While the Rams won it all with many of their current players, they have one of the oldest rosters in the NFL.

Their window for a title is still open, but it is closing fast, especially with their currently constructed team.

Sean McVay recently addressed this in a press conference after being asked by Jourdan Rodrigue about his plans for the trade deadline.

“You kind of have to have some resources and different things like that for those to be options,” McVay said, via Sarah Barshop.

This indicates potential frustration with the front office, as the Rams aren’t likely to make many splashes at the trade deadline.

The Rams currently possess a 2-3 record, putting them in third place in the NFC West.

While they might still make the postseason, they face an uphill battle.

McVay seems well aware of their current situation, as they’ll have to make do with what they have.

As a team filled with veterans, health is their utmost concern.

Cooper Kupp and Matthew Stafford have faced their fair share of injuries over the past several years, keeping both of them out of multiple games in 2022.

Kupp missed the first four games of this year, but he appears to be back to normal.

Can this aging Rams team defy expectations for the rest of the year?
